you can really boos your survival rate and loot yyou leave with just by hanging back a little bit instead of rushing into the map run to a mid loot spot if youre a free kit to get some some extra consumables and stuff then slowly push into the better spots wastingg the first 5 minutes getting some stuff that will be useful once you start fighting enemies

Assassin is good for one thing, popping his smokes and chilling with a shotgun, or maybe sitting in a corner and avoiding bots (this playstyle will get you no where in the end game). He is completely useless as a hero in team fights if your opponent has more than three brain cells and fully countered by the extremely abundant and effective thermal scopes.

you play aggro with him but don't run straight into 3 guns like a fool, to be clear. his abilities allow for quick rotations and his ult is a hard counter for assassins and smokes in general. His shield is a win button in cqc though if you can push out a solo.

That's a shell issue. "high skill ceiling" players in destroyer are still easy to zone, avoid, or bait... It's the FASTEST shell to half way "master" and that's why it's the "high skill cap" shell at the moment. Just my opinion, based on facts :/

you can chain stunlock the shit out of most UESC, people kill wardens with knives and its really not even that crazy just good stats + some experience doing it. a grenadier usually will have enough time in a stab frenzy to get his bearings/unstunned, but just stay ontop of him so he melees you instead of shoots and you'll come out ontop and silent still

If people are using free kits to fight UESC, it makes a lot of sense to have upper the ammo in the kits. They didn’t come with enough to fight a lot of bots even if you picked up ammo along the way. And keep in mind there are a lot of events in game designed around fighting the bots. So to me it makes sense to up the ammo in free kits. If people are playing the game solely for PvP then no additional ammo was required.

Yes but a free kit before the ammo upgrade didn’t even have enough ammo to do the most basic stuff fighting bots. So the free kits were broken for what many people will try to do first when they play the game. Then those people just think the game is broken and poorly designed and never play it again. The upgrade in ammo in free kits doesn’t make the game any worse for people that use custom loadouts.

the spawns are always around a poi, in perim there is also some along the wall but they are mostly surrounding hauler (which is why hauler turns into a meat grinder so often within the first couple mins).... if you want to avoid fights early then pick a poi you didn't start next to and move a bit slow (like walk for the first tiny bit over running) that will help your timing alot so you will just... miss more crews lol

There’s red, yellow, and green keys. Green spawn randomly through the map, each POI other than the one at destroyed wing has a spot to use 2 green keys to open it. There are 4 red keys with static spawns throughout the map. Yellow keys have many different options and will spawn at varying locations. In the middle of pinwheel you can use 2 reds and a yellow to open a locked room with great loot. Inside the pinwheel there’s 2 wings, at the end of each there’s a button. Push both and it opens a third wing. That’s pinwheel

To your point about fairness element: I do think there should be a relative standard gear range. If Cryo is demanding minimum 5,000 credit loadout then why is it a team with a 20k loadouts can jump into a perimeter match with crews that all have free sponsored kits? Should be a loadout ceiling or relative loadout range added to the matchmaking heuristics.

Spent 5 minutes pinning a team of purple shields from the roof of algae ponds and cracking their shields multiple times, getting a couple downs, only to lose because my teammates are always god damn free kits with no sustain/heals who die in two shots and leave me to 3v1

no? i get into 1 to 3 fights per match, against people playing exactly like i am, we hear eachother and spend like a few mins dancing around eachother and either one peels back because they can't get a good engage or you clash. with how solos is you can even clash multiple times because you're both forcing akward engages that dont' allow for hard pushes.... its not campy at all its constant motion... also i shoot bots and transport drones and stuff all the time, i farm uesc because how else am i gonna make room keys?! you just can't do it in dumb ways (it was possible before the last sound change also)
