Well you can't blame people for trynna get 2 hours of enjoyment out of a game. The game was obviously planned on being a PvE only game. I saw Arcs dev videos and even though they said they changed it to PvEvP for longevity, the only thing I heard is that "we can't keep up with decent amount of content for a PvE only game ", and their updates reflect that. No hate in the game though I loved it all the way through while playing it

If you're 1-2 shotting a full team through smokes without any whiffs there's like a 95% chance you're using thermal.

But to iterate, this is just an objective problem I've witnessed. Doesn't really bother me that people play that way (since they're not really playing the game).

I can get in game but I can't even get out of spawn. Like, it physically slows my character down about 20 feet from spawn and if I try to go any further I rubbedband all the way back. Loaded in with some high tier loot, tried to leave spawn, rubberbanded for like 8 mins and got headshot sniped and lost about 2.5k worth of gear :(

Shark, I'm saying there were instances where they were specifically camping exfil for 7-10 minutes for the sole purpose of plinking any team that uses it.

The current strat is to post up with snipe/thermal usually as thief/assassin and wait. When a team finally comes they hold off until the exfil is ready and the team jumps in, then they unload while they're all gathered like fish in a barrel.

the best thing about that exfil is the clusters of rocks and then the canyon a little bit towards overflow which makes for some stellar cover, or the shack that spawns with the TAD. As for dire marsh, which catwalk is this? the only one I could think of off the top of my head is AI uplink but that one is cut off by anomaly to the north and canal to the west

I don’t mind there being PvP but I want it to be at most one or two PvP encounters per run. The encounters shouldn’t happen right away and it should create tension and allow for strategy and tactical play. Having people just spawn next to you feels like the game is Call of Duty but you lose tons of gear if you don’t shoot first. 😉 Plus a lot of people with free kits have nothing to lose and get into the fighting right after spawn.

Some players are weird. Some just decide, after we have backpack packs full of stuff that they want to so pvp. My last run we cleared out one area and then hauler and had so much loot. I marked the exfil and one person wandered off to the Northern Relay. The other tried to solo a crew and died. I usually save people if they get killed but I just exfiled. If you are just not going to be sane I can’t help you.

really depends on your expectations and how well you get along with playing auto fill trios with strangers. I would not play this game solo as a casual, but there are progression mechanics (shared XP mostly) that makes autofill trios feel good even if the team quality isnt
