Group of 3 levels 30s, all blue gear, we did outpost + pinwheel 5x in a row. Enemies similar gear.

1 leaves and a level 67 fills in. We got steamrolled 6x in a row, enemies in purple/gold gear.

Our kits didn't change. Still blues. just 1 persons faction progress and overall level.

The POI's spawn the shown purple salvage very seldom. Key rooms still aren't the best way since those can spawn other purple salvage too, so not good for targeted salvage farm, like if you need just the seed for example. Decent way, might be to just go in with thief, spam POI's until you see a purple box. Still going to be a slow farm though.
But personally I think farming faction rep to get those rank up packages will have the best odds of getting those seeds. So find out which faction needs the seeds for upgrades, and earn their rank up packages. That's how I got most of my Reflex Coils for Arachne

Most upgrades in those games are mild to moderate performance upgrades in areas like handling or reload. This game literally just has an upgrade that says "do more dmg lol." It stands out when most of the upgrades are fairly mild in terms of improving combat performance.

Even most weapon upgrades only make a bit of difference. Once people max out that knife damage path it'll become hilarious. Just people using their auto lunge knives in close quarters.

A close runner up to the volley rifle and bully would be the retaliator lmg. Surprisingly snappy with certain mods, and I've found a magazine mod to give it 100 round mags. Very very very solid option and I don't normally like lmgs. The shield you can mod onto it also helps soak up damage instead of your shield/health, lifesaver.

However Your CPU (FX-8350) is very old and likely missing newer instruction sets (like AVX) the game expects, so the game launches through BattlEye but immediately crashes before opening. And your GPU is borderline

We can agree to disagree, I liked Concord because I felt it was pretty balanced and streamlined, I've heard a lot of people say that it was a much more balanced version of Destiny 2 PVP, I never played Destiny 2 but seeing some of the gameplay footage yeah I could definitely see the comparisons in terms of the movement at least especially with the dodges

I bought it on a whim in spite of the hate because I wanted to see for myself if I like the game and I ended up loving it, put in about 30 hours before it got shut down. It's the same thing with marathon, I see so much hate towards it but I decided to think for myself and buy it anyway, and so far I think it's $40 well spent. What I wish I understood is why people get so upset at even just suggesting that Concord wasn't the worst game ever made. It wasn't perfect, but to call it the worst thing ever is just being disingenuous

Just keep pushing. Trust me it gets easier. I’ve got roughly 40 hours and am only lvl 22. The sekgen unlock quest literally took me 15+ runs to complete but now I’ve consistently helped most people I queue with complete it

its not the game thats hard, its just the quest locking. the actual quests to complete solo are hard. zero issues with the actual game.

Exactly. In my opinion, they should toss aside the pve players, or at least get some people working on destiny again to satisfy them. If they stick to an audience that, quite frankly, doesn't get shit, what other game are they going to play of these qualities?

I only have about 10 hours in Marathon so far, because I work a lot but I'm really enjoying it so far.. I'm getting my ass kicked a lot but I guess that's part of the learning curve. I do think in my opinion that later on down the line Bungie could add a few more PVP focused game modes, but once again I'm partial to PVP but when I'm playing solo and Marathon I typically tend to avoid any kind of Confrontation with other players

Nope just someone who enjoys good games and can notice the hate is similar between the two games. One failed but I know Marathon will pull thru
