I got tired you cant pvp at all, because in solos almost every time 6 men teamup and you are the worst on the world for trying to pvp, almost impossible to win a single gun fight. 2nd the 3rd person just feels bad imo because you just look out in a corner waiting for a dude to run up to you and get 2 tapped by a shotgun. The problem with comparing Marathon to Arc is the server slam is like bottom gear, no faction upgrades, etc. It’d be like playing arc with a free kit rattler, no shield, 0/75 skill points, running out in the open dying to wasps and hornets then complaining without adapting. TBF UI does need some streamlining, but the complaints are way over exaggerated.

The problem with comparing Marathon to Arc is the server slam is like bottom gear, no faction upgrades, etc. It’d be like playing arc with a free kit rattler, no shield, 0/75 skill points, running out in the open dying to wasps and hornets then complaining without adapting. TBF UI does need some streamlining, but the complaints are way over exaggerated.

No it doesn’t, unless you are literally using the most trash pistol in the game it will take a full mag

also is a mag not a clip. Clip is a mechanism used to feed a mag, only some old guns use clips to feed the ammo directly into the gun, in Marathon we have full mags.

All guns can kill the normal enemies with half mag, you can also kill them with 1 hit from the knife, I’m pretty sure you are confusing the enemies either way heavy shield

Pretty sure. I'm a cs player at it works well with ingame settings. Changed it in my GPU but i believe marathon forces the 19:3 anyway, as it keeps bars on the top and bottom of the screen regardless of being in full screen

Will say I went in cautiously optimistic and the game's got me back on the Bungie bandwagon after being disillusioned for a while, game needs some tweaks to the UI in some places but after getting a good binge in last night a lot of the movement techs from Destiny fell into place and I fell in love with the design of the interior spaces - this game is a stealth rat's dream. Couple small things, nothing huge, just small tweaks.

1, Loadout button on main menu should read "Inventory" to more appropriately describe at a glance its multiple functions (more than just your equipped gear)

2. When aiming down sights the friendly markers feel like they shrink and occlude into the head of the shell, when playing on lower HUD opacities and if the player has the right skin on you just can't see the friendly marker anymore lol

Overall though I really like the design language of the UI, just tweak these two things and I'm 10/10 on it

When i initially downloaded the Server Slam I was able to make adjustments to the brightness. The game is so bright that i cant see more than 50 meters away from me. I have now confirmed that multiple of my friends have the brightness setting in game in the video section. I on the other hand do not have this option. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to prompt the brightness adjustment, but that didn't work either. I do not have nvidia graphics card color edit abilities with my RTX 5060. a low TTK that favours having the initiative is part of the design. As a squad you are always balancing rummaging for gear and being in the best position to jump another squad if you spot them

During loading, browse the codex or storage;

Be able to automatically transfer items I already have when looting (or make this a faction upgrade)

For medicine and doping, make separate pockets for poop/pouches/unloading under the ace separately from the backpack (faction upgrade?), which could contain, for example, excess consumables

Loose cartridges can be arranged in futuristic blocks/cassettes in order to increase the amount of ammunition in one stack

I mean sure smgs could use a slight buff for close range battles, doesnt mean that shotgun needs to be nerfed. It sucks when you get dogged by a shotgun, but again thats realistically every single game that has had shotguns ever. If you turn shotguns into a pea shooter it will feel even worse when you lose a close gunfight because your shotgun takes more than 2 shots to kill and get shredded by an smg in 2 seconds.
