the gun system makes no sense, infinite free kits is bs, bp are ez to get, safe pockets being a thing anyone can have is too safe and discouragess less reasons to kill people since ppl pocket room keys and high tier bps.

I think both ARC and Marathon will be good for different reasons - the PvE and crafting looks to be wayyy better in ARC

The PvP and loot economy looks to wayyy better in Marathon (we'll see how it plays but I choose a bit of trust)

Arcs loot areas are so dumb imo go to red area and find nothing of value I hope marathon has better loot in high danger areas

I think arc raiders will drop off quite sharply in a few months unless they put deeper systems in the game outside of crafting and resets

yea, I like to be optimistic about arc as I can but even wth their roadmap of events and changes, there are still some fundamental aspects that need to be fixed/tweaked

its not a new one when the pvp is dogshit, and the game is ez asf there is no basis on proper progression you can get juiced 7 hours of gameplay as long as your not ass at pvp and know what your doing, there is nothing preventing you like stronger ai, or higher lvl requirements to maps, its all just given to you than it is gained

No real endgame, lore suck(new game tho), quests dont really feel special, I don’t like 3rd person, I don’t like the art direction, but these are my personal reason

invis has the advantage in initiating fights, after that you have more tools to fight with than the assassin

Arc riders is a very good thing for marathon because of competition between two games for players.

I’ve only put in 40 hours or so into it. I don’t feel time spent on the game is respected or rewarded. Marathon has that and other systems in spades from what I played of the alpha.

I think that is what will separate the two games. Loot is determined by player worth depending on build and playstyle. Passive rewards from factions. Cosmetics to earn. Quests to do etc

I dont think marathon will be nearly as popular as its explicitly not as casual friendly (fun for some) but I also don't think it would be nearly as popular as it WILL be without it. It was a good intro to the xshooter genre that marathon can make some success on

I mean it was released with new players/new to genre in mind. I felt the same as you going in after being a tarkov sweat and getting the workshop done fully within a few days lol, but I learned to enjoy the game where I can
