Eh, once you get a feel for the tactics you're expected to use, you start to guess the intent of the level design. 2 is slightly more confusing, but much less janky. Infinity is so much more confusing. So if the puzzles and exploration were your low point, I pray for your future.

surprisingly I didn't have a ton of trouble with Colony Ship For Sale, Cheap. Playing enough Doom and Descent prepares you for scouring the entire map and filling the automap before considering yourself "stuck". There are still some switches I don't know what they were supposed to do but I was able to leave the level anyway. Other times it was trying to figure out if I was being forced to take damage to do something or not. Last level took about 10+ attempts to have enough health left to do the last lava run

well, maybe not 10+ but it sure felt like it having to do the very last bit of Try Again over to even restart it
