Hello! Playtester here. Just gonna talk about the April playtest since that one is open. Even from then the gunplay felt better than any of Bungie's games. It felt very snappy and precise but you can still "feel" the weight of weapons for every shot, but that's probably more because of the audio.

TLDR: it's very good.

Plenty of uninformed people will be surprised when it's not concord 2 because they're not paying attention, and then some of them won't try it, so there will be losses, but for the most part the damage is undone. For everyone but Angry Joe, at least, he seems to still be treating it with a bit of bias, but he's always about not giving too much benefit of the doubt. Which is good, as long as that bias doesn't hit the final review and he actually does his research. Not that he's relevant anyway ig.

It's not by accident that 5e players are incredibly averse to learning other systems, in fact, many don't actually understand the concept that there are other TTRPGs. Many 5e players actually think D&D is the only game of its type. It's part of the culture and marketing that you "play D&D" not ttrpgs. You introduce anyone to the medium with any other game with any other learning curve and they'll be willing to learn other games from the get go. It's 100% by design, I won't believe anything else.

I can't agree with that. Like my SMG with attrition orbs and chaos reshaped is not the same as another SMG that has heal clip and incan. It's not invisible at all and very noticeable. What a weapon does is significantly more important than how a weapon feels imo.
