It's battle pass I liked its model as like it wasn't necessarily like you need it but you get extra skins and parts, also weapons if lost them on death. Which I liked, but also buying the battle pass for the weapons and then immediately losing what you bought the battle pass could cause a lot of frustration. So it could get heated, but I could see me running a lot of cheap weapons until I am comfortable of dying because I have like 5 extras in my inventory.

For me I feel like cheating can sometimes be on the health of the game. If there are people in the game and they are making a lot of profit, they are making and monitoring for anticheat. I saw a few games like Apex legends and tf2, When they had devs working and also game is more lively they had less cheaters on. As less people played over said word "dying" they had more cheaters on and that pushed new and old players from staying in that game.

I can get that theres only very few to none for some games like these with battle passes. I bought elden ring nightreign collectors edition, and no battle pass. In game skins and items you can earn over time. Premade updates for harder bosses, it was pretty fun for 2-3 months worth of playing, but lack of updates now and said to be a "DLC " for it way later this year or early next year. I'm assuming if it had a in game battle pass or microtransactions it would get a few updates right now and I would be playing it more rn. I come back everynow and then because the mechanics and reset grinding is really fun with randoms.
