I don't know if this counts as NDA related or not, but one of my experiences playing Deadlock was, the more people played, the better people were and I am not really skilled or patient enough for online games like I was back in my youth. I generally don't have the bandwidth or interest to pour hundreds of hours in anymore, so what happens when people who have been really grinding in the alphas get to retail and go against the millions buying into Marathon? the thing that bothered me, along with the huge failure of copied concept art making it into the previous test and marketing, was people believing that the entire art style was lifted from one person. Like one person is the sole owner of this art style somehow. You could say it’s derivative, that’s fine and valid criticism.
It’s a huge amount of work to art direct a game of this scale and I think it looks great, they’ve gone to lengths to explain where their inspiration is from too.

Im assuming they are basically cranking the dial to 11 to mimic the release version of the game to allow runners to test as much as possible without many limits (barring maps and levels)
