The whole point of extraction games is you CHOOSE how to get your loot. If youre a rat and dont want pvp. You can get a bunch of loot without firing a bullet. OR, you can hunt the players that rat. Or you can do both. Or you can do puzzles. Or do quests. Or blah blah blah.

Dynamic Anomaly Zones that have High Level and powerful loot but you need protective items to enter or you die in it. These zones would appear randomly near a POI around 2 minutes in a raid

like maybe you can get access to an anomaly zone by doing an task for your faction, so you can get some type of permit, then you extract an special item to help you survive the zone, and in the actual zone itself, there's canisters to increase ur time to stay but they're scarce but they'll be the main focus to stay alive and will promote pvp engagements since there's only so few, it'll make you pre-plan ur run than just going in n getting out

And when entering Oni the assistant AI would play something about your connection being severed, like ISAC from Division games when you enter a DZ

Uhhhhh its complicated.
1 has a subtle undercurrent and is very play it straight, uncomplicated. 2s writing is complex and decent in sidequest but its humor is referential and when it misses its historically bad. Presequel is the best writing in the entire fucking series its insane its so good it flipped me on characters I'd known for a decade. Have not played 3. Tales is solid and understands a lot but suffers from abandonment.

I remember being butthurt a few months back about not being invited to the tests, and instead bounced over to Arc Raiders, and I think that was ultimately a good thing because I hada positive first experience with Arc Raiders, which instilled an appreciation in the Extraction Shooter genre, so now I'll be better able to properly enjoy the gameplay of Marathon. I think if I played Marathon first and had a janky experience, I probably would've sworn the whole genre off. So, in a weird way, thanks Bungie for not inviting me to play.

Yeah, mine is gas. Whenever I have multiple burners going I think “yep, I’m dying”. Any time I use an electric anymore it’s just a pain. I’d love to try an induction.

Induction is mostly good but it's important to get one with a wider heating zone, I keep getting stupid rings of heat in the middle of the pan
