Yes it's not a massive deal but it's a pet-peeve of mine when things are mislabeled/misrepresented lol. There haven't been any open tests, it's all been closed. Open = anyone can play, closed = invite required

And they've specifically called them alpha tests to indicate that they are not a clear portrayal of the finished product due to the unfinished or limited nature of them

And if they copy Battlefield 6's Open Beta model, where they did the playtest 3 months before Release Date, that would make for a Nov/Dec Open Beta. However, you dont want to do a Beta around the Holidays, so they could delay it till Jan/Feb, which would be kinda crazy

I like rivals, but idk I feel like Overwatch is in a more balanced state. In rivals, if a character is broken, they dominate. And if theyre not, well you're basically throwing. Id love to play Blade but for such a close range duelist he just doesn't have the escape tools or near the health regen to duel the enemy team with, and can easily be overwhelmed. Where as Overwatch reaper has solid approach and escape balance, making him really good at weaving in and out of combat
