There was a closed creator alpha for big streamers and youtubers followed by the gameplay reveal and end of arg then 1st alpha that had its nda lifted. Now we had a small ndalpha last month and one coming up next week.

I think part of it is resistance to change, I for one don't disagree with the grind on paper, but the fact that bungo nerfed the most efficient way to grind (ironically by repeating the exotic mission ppl complained you had to repeat in the story; encore) since ppl were levelling too quickly has left a bad taste in a lot of ppls mouths

Destiny pvp was something that no other game came about to replicating. If you get into it then it is genuinely something else. It just kind of came to be with the help of the engine.
