Like the more memories you have stored and can remember expands the feeling of time itself going forward. The very memories of you 10 or 20 or 30 years ago makes time itself seem bigger. We are not good at long time frames so I kinda makes sense that the more direct experience you have with time, the notion of time compounds.

Gotcha. yeah the thing with the alpha not many people got in, it was meant to be a closed limited test with NDA. They removed then the NDA to cater to the public, but that created so much confusion since the alpha still remained a closed one. There was so much miscommunication due to this. you could either go that route, or have a game about the pfhor invasion during m1, but set on the planet itself rather than on the marathon ship, this works especially well since we know at least 8 (or 9, i forgot) mark IV cyborgs were on the planet at the time
