A simple example, if a bunch of companies in California become really successful and need more capital to grow then they should be able to (and can) secure funding from everywhere in the country and the world. But if those same companies need labor to grow it’s a LOT harder for them to get those resources because most countries have restrictive immigration policies. Now HR is using AI to filter these applications automatically. Basically, people have been getting degrees to just not get filtered out by esoteric hiring practices already. Now people are streamlining the process of getting those keywords and the system that streamlines looking for those keywords is getting more efficient. None of which actually translates to finding actually good candidates
