I don't think you said something bad, more that I don't believe people can launch a halo like game these days with how saturated the market is in constant updates and new content.

There would be an audience and the game would be good, but player demand is nuts. Destiny 2 has over 2k weapons and 3k armor pieces and one of the common complaints is not enough loot/grind.

I would say there are anomalies, but outside of modes like forge, even counterstrike gets new things to chase and bg3 received large post launch changes to game.

1.) The upgrade system. What they had was nice, but they need to expand on what they let you unlock. Maybe one of the factions could have upgrades that lets you find the purple mats in greater quantities and/or more often. Or maybe some that automatically marks them for you. Another thet makes finding blue/purple attachments more often, etc.

2.) Have different vaults. DMZ had vaults for your keys, your mission items, and your weapons. Marathon only needs two vaults for materials and weapons.

3.) Easier to access starter packs, and upgrade their power. In DMZ, I could go into a B21 with some keycards and throwing knives and I’ll be good for a fight in seconds. A similar system for Marathon can go a long way with keeping players invested.

Eh I wouldnt say most people didnt like it soley cause they didnt get in lol like he said. There are plenty of criticism/feedback on the actual game from players who played. It simply needs work and content which they might be able to recover depending on if they listen and work on key points from the community. Time will tell
