Halo and destiny are dying franchises, halo infinite flopped beyond belief and destiny is just naturally over, marathon will cater to people who enjoy halo movement and destiny like gun play, but it will retain not many of those people because they would rather be playing destiny or halo. Listen you can cope however you want, marathon is DOA just factually, I was really rooting for exoborne too but that game is also inevitably and factually DOA, there is a extraction shooter come up right now and people are fighting for first place, this is a genre like dead by daylight, a millionaire different versions but they all fail, why? Because dead by daylight is the best iteration of that genre, it's hard to beat a game when you release a game and people play it, enjoy it, but at the end of the day you'd rather just be playing the other one either way. Arc raiders has backing from solid devs, as opposed to Bungie. Marathon is cool, Ill enjoy playing for a week when it comes out, but by the 6 month mark it will be a dead game with a consistent 700 players online daily

its a pretty simple game honestly in a lot of ways but you just gotta focus a lot on micro stuff and being able to master the art of moving as fast as possible while still being quiet enough to not be noticed
