I'm at a crossroads and maybe it's coz I'm a looter shooter gamer and Arc n Marathon are my ONLY extract experience [never Dark Zoned in Duv 2] but what does one do in Marathon when you can't afford sponsor kits have no money and zero vault items to sell. People keep saying "knife only" but to what end? At least in Div 2 you can duck into a resource heavy map area sneak some resources n take em back to base. Arc has resource chicken, safe pockets and Raider Hatch key exfils. Is this part of extract shooters like what do you do in Tarkov after getting killed if you have an empty vault? Marathon is currently high gear 3 man squads only hunting PvP not bots or loot. Is it even worth logging in today with no gear n no way to make money? Thx.

Hunt handled soloing in a pretty good way: In that game every time you get a bounty or kill players or whatever you get experience and that experience can be used to level up and buy different "perks," the perks stay on your hunter until they die, and some of the perks are solo perks that only apply to solo hunters

the main one is being able to self rez like 3 times

the way you stop solos from self rezzing in hunt is by burning their bodies and watching them so they don't get up, or putting traps over them
