Primitive ore not mineable in time portal

Does anyone know a fix for these beacause this seems like the best farm for prim ore.

After quite a few runs with friends yesterday seems like there might be a silent cooldown on how often you can mine them because one of the portals later on they were active mid portal when they initially weren't. We tried to just chill out in the one right after to see if maybe it was just a delay or some kind of bug but sure enough it was just time before we could do it again. Maybe 15-30 mins

also another thing ive noticed is that i can only mine a certain amount of it

Every time it's up it's roughly 10-20 a run and everyone can mine the same node unlike the open world.

yh for some reason i could only mine 4 and couldnt do anything for 1 hour

and they are still on cd

Which time portal are you going to?

I have been going to 3 man time portal as solo, and able to farm without any cd

Soroma stronghold? Maybe i haven’t farmed enough yet. Went 4 times so far, and it let me mine without any issue

Could just be something that isn't dialed in yet so every server is experiencing it differently

I did notice on one of my run, it didnt let me mine at first, but i was able to after killing other mobs in the area

yea just kill the mobs and boss 1st,and then u can mine all the nodes (theres 9 nodes)

ive been there with a 3 man and solo and also been to the solo one

so i just need to kill everything first then mine?

I think there's like a cooldown right when the dungeon starts. You'll be able to mine them roughly after like 3-5minutes?

ive tried everything you ppl have suggested but it doesnt work for me

i think that its a server/region problem

ive joined multiple parties and solo runs in 2 different time portals but they cant be mined

yeah i killed all the mobs and even timed everything

gonna test it a bit more soon but i think its just my server that it doesnt work on beacause none of my party members have been able too harvest it either

i have been doing it solo, at Soroma stronghold. Was able to mine everytime after killing the mobs

Most of the time, I do one or two of the portal zones and then they all start glowing where they can be mined. Only had a few runs where this wasn't the case so far.

I tried killing some more of those vine thingies and that seemed to unlock the iron nodes. Cant confirm that though since it only tried it like 2 times

In case you want another method, the open world golem boss drops primitive iron ore nodes in the open world. Here’s a video covering that if needed:

i have been farming the boss but its super tedious and slow

i got 4 ore every 10 min

took me almost 4 hours to get the ancestral weapon

2 things from my tests, 1 soroma dungeon doesnt activate the primitive iron

I had the same issue as some of those above where the trials just didnt respawn the primitive ore fast enough to make them efficient

2 the defector dungeon iron works but you need to wait a bit, there seems to be a inside cooldown

and you need to be inside for the cooldown to start, wait outside the dungeon doesn't work

there is around 10 iron per run on that one

I get prim iron from soroma dungeon just fine (as well as with defector). You just need to wait/kill enemies for the iron nodes to actually be mineable.

Generally I can loop back after killing everything and all the nodes are up.

If you're running soroma in an actual party instead of solo then you might have to wait a while because you will clear it significantly faster than the respawn time.

I was solo, but I don't think the time difference was that high at lvl20. Anyway I thought I tried after killing all the mobs, but maybe you are right and I was leaving too soon.
