#Suggestion: Keeping Terramity Focused on Minecraft 1.20.1

yeah i agree 1.0 will update to 1.20.1
but
i dont agree with 1.21.1 port
What happens if, in the future, a much stronger Minecraft version releases with a major update or drop? A version that attracts more mods and active development, effectively overshadowing 1.21.1. We’ve already seen how newer versions can quickly pull attention away from NEOFORGE 1.21.1. On top of that, Mojang’s new drops system puts 1.21.1 at a disadvantage, as it doesn’t give NeoForge enough time, stability, or content momentum to fully establish itself as a true Forge replacement. Because of this, 1.21.1 is already being impacted by the rapid release cycle, making its long-term relevance uncertain. Realistically, 1.20.1 is likely to remain the main modding version well into the future, at least until Mojang moves away from the current drops model.”
Sorry but i dont agree with 1.21.1 port in the future ❌
They could just update to the new version if they felt like it
This might be the biggest nothing burger ever
On top of that, many mod creators are already focusing on newer versions and porting their mods past 1.21.1, which has a significant negative impact on the 1.21.1 modding scene.
At the same time, 1.20.1 is receiving a lot of well-deserved content, with new mods still actively being developed for it.
Ok ?
it's up to aurukel if and when the mod ports to a new version, suggestions and port requests won't change that
It’s possible that many people from 1.21.1 will move to newer versions with better mods in the future.
what do you mean?
i mean don't pester devs about versions
Yes, exactly, it’s better not to bother the developers about new versions, but they should still consider my suggestion.
