First enemy up is the Corrupted Lilly, a relatively rare enemy that spawns occasionally in lush caves. I haven't really worked out the drops, but I think they would be early game drops themed around poison and self preservation. For the attacks, I'm thinking thorns that come up out of the ground around the player like temporary caltrops (maybe even causing slowness [or working like sweetberry bushes]) the Lilly would also shoot poison globs at the player. Do note that the Lilly will be permanently rooted in place.

Second enemy is the Sergeant Drowned, an underwater zombie that spawns in all kinds of oceans. It has roughly 1.5x the health of a normal drowned while also moving slightly faster underwater, spawns rarely. The drowned has a harpoon gun that deals moderate damage and if hit, will reel the one hit back towards the drowned. Small chance to drop the harpoon gun on death.
corrupted lily is unfortunately near identical to a boss from Bosses of Mass Destruction
thorns and all
Alright, next up we got the Exiled Shade. This is a very tanky enemy that spawns on the nether roof and is design wise kinda similar to the Shade from hollow knight mixed with a turtle and bedrock. These mobs would be neutral enemies of a moderate size (a bit bigger than an echo spider) that are quite slow and can drop black matter ore (so ya can't tier skip) a unique effect I think these mobs could have would be them aggroing like pigmen and spawning in "herds".
what evolutionary purpose does it serve when it looks like raw meat

Fourth enemy, we got the Revenant Blade, a haunted cursed sword mob that spawns rarely in deserts, soul sand valleys, and near any mausoleums. It would drop iron, spiteful souls, golden nuggets, and a small chance of the actual sword (a slightly worse version of excalibur with less range and damage, but gives rage as a right click [or does a very small additional amount of magic damage]).
Final suggestion, (for now) is the Gnosk [or Gnomish Mimic]. It is a miniboss with roughly 100 health and dealing roughly 4 - 6 dmg a hit with a lunge/jumping attack dealing 8 - 10 dmg. The Gnosk would spawn underground in dark areas. I envision it looking similar to a normal gnome, except slightly bigger with a "dark aura" around it and suddenly transforming into it's full form whenever it spots a player. Idk what it would drop (outside of a bunch of xp and a gnome hat) and I'll leave that up for speculation.
