Sure, but you can also easily make a nether portal if you find the necessary resources, so it'd almost be the same as being lucky of finding the calculator / having the enough resources to craft one

...So? At the start, you'll need to either find / craft a fire resistance potion, which would be a hassle on it's own, then you'd find a fire resistance charm. Either way, you have the chance of spawning on a big space with lots of lava, so you'd have to go through a whole hassle just to get out of it

That's why the added con of "Straight into lava"

You can be lucky or unlucky

It's like, when you get to a certain point in the game, you can go to the nether freely (with the probability of having to go through the hassle of getting out of the lava). I don't see the issue

first off: you need to get to THE FUCKING END for that and you can get the calculator before the nether. secondly: yes thered fire res charms but with how big bodies of lava in the nether are you likely will not have enough time to get out of the lava before your fire res ends and you burn. and as for fire res pots you need to GOT TO THE NETHER TO MAKE THEM so i dont see the problem here.

and unless SOME structure in terramity adds fire res pots and im not aware of it this isnt a problem

and im excluding other mods adding fire res stuff since that shouldnt count.

if you have another modding adding stuff like that its not terramitys fault that you could access the nether like that.

though for the nether portal: yes. it would be bitch to leave HOWEVER obsidian isnt that hard to come by if you loot or barter with piglins and you can find iron in some chests and mine gravel for flint. or you can make a fire charge

you can use it to fast travel between the nether and overworld, not for the first time going to the nether, and fire ress charms dont wear out. Not only that if ur playing with relics then you have the lava walking boots. which could be before elytra. If you have to use a portal once or twice to go to the end or wtv you can, its just that this is so much easier to quickly travel from overworld to nether, say when ur not near a portal, or u dont wanna build it at a certain spot
