Main Effigy Idea

So let me give you a hypothetical:
You are in late game terramity with way too much profanum/exodium/nyxium/whateverium ingot and you want something from a previous netherite+? tier
Your options are:
go mine for iridium cuz youre a bum
or
fight ultra sniffer
and then you'll still need to collect the alternative resources for whatever material you want to craft

With the new

Effigy of Regression

You will be able to give certain materials to the statue and be given back randomly multiple inferior materials in return in sets of 3 (im thinking on a ratio of 1:3 [might need a nerf/buff])
so for example, you give the effigy one exodium, you could get either 3 conductite/hellspec/void alloy
Then those 3 materials can go into gaianite/cosmilite/dimlite also at a ratio from 1:3 (maybe less/more)
Any of those could go into prismatic gems/netherite/whaterver, idk for what the 3rd thing can be
the prismatic gem into any 3 gem
diamonds to coal/iron/copper
All in all this thing could be a shitty one way version of ye olden matter condenser from projecte

Alternative Effigy Idea

Presenting any item to the effigy will have it "deconstructed" (ie just uncrafted) into it's crafting materials at the cost of some exp

This idea was kinda inspired by those totk/botw godess statues as seen by the pic (I promise I'll get back to playing)

Design wise it could just be the current gnome statue but a good bit bigger and with wings

If it’s not too unreasonable to code, I’ll probably make it a weird postgame encryptium thing. Otherwise it’s not happening, cuz there’s dupe recipes in Terramity that I don’t want to cause issues with (along with other mods)

Some mods blacklist themselves from the uncrafting table, mekanism has done this with some of their late game items (haven't tested if it was the whole mod)
Could make it to only work on terramity tagged items to avoid it breaking other stuff

Diamond farms are honestly not that unbalanced as long as it’s not too easy to make one

I had one in my pvp server, all create stuff, was a pretty big machine

Yea but thats silly tech mod stuff

Modpack devs will just have to restrict most uncrafting recipes to keep progression and the role of tech mods what they want
