These are core mechanics if they stop adding chip damage to all the fucking bosses. otherwise you cant bring a lot of switches or bother changing prayers since you need to eat food/brews.

If they got an issue with people overstaying somewhere, then tackle the real issue which is 1 tick prayer flicking.

unlimited prayer should not be a mechanic or even allowed, but they instead design combat achievements about using 1 ticking to complete them lol.

like the no prayer loss fight caves

But they ignored the problem for to long and now they cant change it, as it basically invalidates nearly every meta for restricted accounts or early game accounts.

Like if they removed 1 tick flicking, then it would no longer be possible to get a 40 combat inferno cape or low combat fire capes.

Rs is a rythm game, everything operates on ticks which is .6 seconds cycles.

if a boss attacks on 3 tick cycle that means it will attack you every 1.8 seconds

if your wep is 4 tick that means you will swing it every 2.4 seconds

I woulda approached master CA"s but it requires teams for nearly everything an its very annoying to find teams of people who already are good enough to do it.

OSRS at its highest level of restricting yourself is the hardest game ever.

like doing level 40 inferno is 20 hours of perfect concentration

And thats one of the things osrs does well, the game doesnt have you play it, it gives you a world in which you play, you are thrown in and you make your own rules, you play how you want, the game doesnt dictate what you do in it, it only gives you the tools for you to build how you want to expierence it.

The auto-pray, auto 1 tick switches an stuff are fucking digusting and i wish they would ban those players.

I did use openosrs in the past, it was deemed a cheat client but i only used informational plugins.

if osrs had things like dbm to make bosses/raids easier, they would eventually just adapt boss/raid difficulty around it

they did it with prayer flicking

essentially a must for high end pvm now

with its combos/mechanics on specific attack numbers

Openosrs had a overlay to tell you what to pray on like cgauntlet/hydra and how many attacks it done before switching

but it didnt actually change anything for you

marking tiles is not much different than being able to remember the tiles yourself

Tile markers are so incrediably powerful it literally removes an insane skill of knowing were to stand at all times all the time when doing an encounter.

Marking tiles let you remove the brainpower to remembering were to stand and focus it onto like getting prayer/gear switches right/

Youd be surprised on how easy things become when you have a plugin or addon that removes the burden from your own thinking and allows you to focus it elsewhere.

I will say tile markers made the 3rd phase of the last boss in toa a lot easier

Ranged is a great combat style to train though

Range is basically the best combat style in osrs, while melee provides more dps. range can be used to kite an provide similar dps. also many bosses end game cant be meleed.
