best advice for when you go to monsters you don't know about is to quickly glance over the first part of their wiki pages, usually they list items you may require

especially with higher slayer levels, monsters may require specific shields, helmets, necklaces, etc

early slayer kinda sucks because usually you only get tasks that give like 2k xp and have to go out of your way to get there and be done in 10 minutes

on higher levels you can get tasks that give like 30k xp in half an hour or even higher

early slayer is one of the more annoying grinds to get through imo, but so worth it

• port sarim is not that great, if you need a teleport close to there you might as well use explorer ring tele
• etceteria (miscellanea) is quite useless since you should only visit that island for your kingdom and theres much better teleports for that (ring of wealth and fairy ring)
• brimhaven is a good spot close to a fruit tree patch and a good teleport to brimhaven which otherwise has no teleports
• hosidius is okay if you plan on doing sarachnis, otherwise quite useless. Has alternatives like skills necklace to wc guild
• farming guild is really good, very close to a bank and farming guild in general is a good place to go to

and ofc your in-house spirit tree doesn't cost one of your limited slots so definitely get that when you can

You need to visit every week and up keep your reputation, its a huge waste of time an money to invest in kingdom outside of being an iron, because it passively gathers resources that otherwise take many hours to collect, however for a normal account that time investment is not worth the 5 minutes you spend going every week can better be used killing even a slayer monster to make 400k.

can be done with or without the new jagex account

you just add your account there and launch runelite from it and then you can just click a play button

oh and I also recommend logging into runelite as well (green icon in top right), it allows you to save your plugin settings so that if you ever use a different pc you'll still have them, and some plugins like loot tracker keep tracking loot after restarting the client

keep in mind that if you do log in to a runelite account now, you'll have to import your offline settings after logging in
