They basically readjusted our damage profile
Giving more raw damage in removing crit damage modifiers
and added 4% more damage to DS
10% more ap to lc
So now snipe tri-pod is 40% crit with 60% bonus damage instead of 30% crit with 160% crit damage
this makes engravings like keen blunt more vaulable and prob our bis engraving
I invested what little gold i had left in class legendary engraving books
Because relic accessories wont have guaranteed class engravings on them.
20 books only cost around 30k gold so not bad investment

Majority of things are roster bound, when you reach certain mile stones on your main your alts get honing buffs increasing the chance of success of upgrades and reducing the cost.
When they do a new class they often give boosts to get you to like tier right below your main think of it like being given a max level char with full heroic gear when you are full mythic on your main.

You can pay to skip the story with gold using knowledge transfer or opt to do it over.
Alt daily activities consist of 3 daily quests and 2 choas dungeon runs.
then you can just ignore them, there is rested were you get double rewards the next day if you missed a day
there is also training for getting level up afk when you reach levels on your main, your alt is always 1 level below your main only.
Biggest issues with the game is bots are everywhere in lower tiers, but i find them harmless i abuse their cheap resources to make lots of gold.
Lack of supports makes end game content kinda difficult to find a party for.
There are tons of free items and events given daily/weekly by smilegate you get stuff just for logging in. they give compenstation for maintence

They cant ban RMT with more than 3 day due to prob being unable to prove it being actual rmt as there is no paper trail in the game that actually links you to actually rmting as anything they come up with can just be written off as a mistake such as listening a gem for 1million gold and it magically selling, while this is obvious bull shit it cant be proven otherwise. same for in game mail as it cant be proven you wasnt just randomly sent 100k gold from a nice samaritan.

once you unlock it to high level your done with it, you can transfer it to all future gear.
while the gambling of quaility is frustrating at first, its not like honing were it goes away on next tier, you just unlock it for all future relic and ancient gear.
Like the systems in this game are very forgiving and never set you back, you just progress slower if you are unlucky.

but there are ways to bypass tri-pods by buying +4 +4 bases and then re-selling

You can freely switc it and also make pre-sets so if you build a dungeon set an enter a dungeon it will auto swap all your gear, tri-pods, skills ect automatically soon as you enter and then if you enter a raid switch to your raid set.

Straight up one of my favourite things about lost ark is the bosses and how you can react to and predict what it will do next based on tells rather than oh it’s 2:30 into the fight time for x mechanic again

but most of its attacks are random between a set type of attack and gives reaction based tells over like having dbm or addons.
Like bosses have a set move set, but they dont always execute them in the same order.

They said its similar to engravings, you learn the tri-pod an then you have it and can add it on gear as much as you want, i think it has a transfer fail rate and costs silver/powder, but it wont remove the tri-pod if you fail.

I spent around 200k gold, i got so lucky it was nuts. most my armor went to 90+ in like 20k ish gold.
wep was even more crazy going from craft to 89 in 30k then 89-97 in around 3k more as i rage bought 60 stones after i hit cdr on a level 10 gamble. and then 1 tapped the 89-97 so i had 57 stones left over that isnt refundable and just spent those on armor pieces as i unlocked them.
