There are two things about lost ark that say it has a future, one its been our 3 years an there is still loads of content already developed and two the vision of the developers is transparent and they interact with the community.

Like when i discovered you can endlessly craft gear if you get unlucky an it doesnt set you back mats. i wasnt expecting that type of treatment from a mmo after dealing with like wow/diablo lol

Its also casual friendly, everythig is pretty well explained without the need of 3rd part addons.

Its also alt friendly, switching chars is very easy and welcomed, it has lots of stuff for casuals to do like you can fully progress your gear to t3 by just doing skilling an selling stuff for gold to buy upgrade materials.

but there are all kinds of crazy shit you have to do in combat in this game

like counter at the right moment, break armor pieces or weak spots

use high stagger abilities at the right moment to prevent a power attack going off

its actually insane and you have no weak auras, addons, or anything to let you know when the moment is you have to just learn it.

a lot of the island stuff is on the way during story and most the time when you get stuck its because of the story.

What im understanding is ay investment in gear below t3 is a complete waste of daily/weekly activites

and you can use the rest bonus to accumlate extra rewards to t3 when you hit 1100

but if you struggling hard to get to 600/1100 then you can use some of those daily charges to get you there but when doing honing make sure to use books/star to boost your chance by 30% when doing like 14-15

will save you a lot of time
