#Underperformed MM in raid.

When adds come out are you being efficient with AoE?
Without digging deep that is probably why you are on the lower end.
A huge chunk of your damage comes from blowing the adds up on that fight when they come out - i usually end that fight around 1.4m dps right now
Sometimes its worth holding some abilities for a few seconds to maximize their output too
so like I hold Trueshot and/or Rapid Fire for a few seconds if I know adds are about to pop out
This was my log from dec 1st when I ran with another team
So you cast Rapid Fire 25 times and get 272 hits from it (Avg. 10.88 per cast)
I casted it 27 times for 440 hits (Average 16.29 per cast)
Your Aimed Shot 78 casts to 92 hits (Avg. 1.79 hits per cast)
My Aimed Shot 68 to 95 hits (Avg. 1.39 hits per cast)
Taking advantage of those windows with the adds up can pretty heavily increase your dps on that fight
Cause I think you're missing out on a lot of AoE damage
Blood Parasites usually a juicy damage chunk
Appreciate this insight and i appreciate you!
I figured this but I just feel that I try to stick really hard to rotations and end up hindering myself.
Yeah, gotta give yourself some freedom especially on fights that don't line up exactly with your CDs
It's okay if you're missing some Precise Shot casts to capitalize on the adds having very short life spans
Be greedy and slap that volley down right on those parasites 🙂
Hyuuuuuuge damage bursts
It’s because you’re MM, I had the same problem then I realized that MM is for very quick explosive bursts of damage meaning it’s best in PvP. If you’re raiding or doing dungeons and want to be a pumper it’s best you have a secondary spec in SV I’m now doing top DPS in all my raids and dungeons.
Also not sure if you’re playing Cata or retail but this was my experience in Cata.
Why are you providing feedback without even reading?
In his original post he’s talking about retail.
Plus you can play MM in raid and still be fine.
