SV is noticable better dmg wise and survability wise but mm and bm are both very viable
Thing is ATM I'm playing MM. I'm not against switching to SV if need be I just don't want to if the damage difference is only like 1 or 2 percent
This largely depends on gear, group comp, buffs, what content you're running and at what level, etc. But I will say that for me personally, SV is performing nearly 30% better than the other specs in both M+ and in Raid, more so in M+ however. In my opinion, BM is a dead spec in higher keys, and as MM, I was averaging around 1 million overall damage in 8-10 keys. When I switched to SV and crafted a decent weapon for it, my overall damage shot up to 1.25-1.5 million overall damage (625 ilvl). I am consistently outperforming meta/fotm specs; it truly is night and day. It's also the most fun I've had playing this class in years for what that's worth. I say switch your loot spec to SV to grab an agi polearm/staff and give it a shot!
Sorry to butt in, but is it much of a pain to switch stat priorities from mm to sv? I have mostly crit strike and mastery stats
Not a pain at all in my opinion. As MM gojng to SV, I was nearly crit capped with mastery being my second highest. All I did was swap out my rings and move some gems around to get them fairly equal. For sentinel hero talent tree, mastery is king though, so the more you can stack the better. I had a more difficult time finding better trinkets for SV lol. Still on the hunt for mad queens
Thanks, time to farm for a pointy stick
bm does 1.5 - 1.6 m domg in +10's and goes even higher in big keys due to how long adds live
