Her dps is way off her sims but I don’t know how to coach her. I did compare the best bm on that fight and noticed they had almost double the kill command casts as she did, and their fight was even shorter than ours. That might be it but any other advice would be appreciated.

Thanks. Dang so that’s a lot of downtime.

  1. Uptime needs to be majorly improved
  2. Kill command needs to be pressed a lot more often.
  3. Gear is extremely under-optimized.

Honestly, I don't know her or her ego or if her goal is to develop extremely strong fundamentals etc etc. But Hekili helped me a lot. While now I don't always follow it, in those high stress times during raids where there's lots of mechanics to dodge or I am doing a specific mechanic that requires concentration, I can always glance at Hekili and without having to use my brain on deciding what to press, I can just press what it says for a bit and be like 98% of the way to a perfect rotation

There are a lot of things going on. the ego is chill but she just wants to know why her damage sucks. Originally she was mm. I don’t like to force switches on my raid team but she was consistently below the tank at like 200k dps. I urged her to bm because you have less downtime and it’s just easier that way. A mm is basically a caster so it’s not a good class to play unless you have confidence in that already. She’s asking questions like why is she dying and no one else is and why is she doing bad dmg. I think it’s just more practice and commitment. I believe she has the addon. My buddy watched her stream during raid and she was primarily clicking so that’s a tough one. She did go from 200k to 500k by switching to bm. I think there’s just a lot to clean up. Such as, keep hitting kill command even if you’re dodging things.
