Spec Question for M+ and Raid

It's looking like BM is far and away the best spec for every boss in the current raid, but what's going to be the best spec for M+?

I started this tier playing Survival and it's just awful in raid. I'm competitive, but nowhere close to BM or MM. I want to swap, but I don't have a good bow yet.

My main question is - what's the best spec for M+? I've heard BM is horrendous in M+, and I usually blast in M0s with SV, but I've also seen/heard that MM is fairly strong in M+ also. I feel like the best route is to go BM for raid and MM for M+ but I'm not sure.

Saying SV is "nowhere close" to BM in raid Is just incorrect IMO. BM is strong because of the ease of DPS output and the fact that you never need to slow down your DPSing while doing mechanics.

However, if you take the time to learn survival, it is fairly strong and competitive in raid. And it blows BM out of the water in M+

However, BM for raid and MM for M+ is not a bad plan if you like the ranged playstyle more. Ideally, tuning will get BM to a solid point in M+ as well

I guess a better question is: how close are SV and MM in M+? BM and MM have very similar item requirements so it'd be easier to swap things around I think

Oh mb didn't know you were a top 10 level player. Yeah for sure then BM probably the better way to go for you. MM much easier to swap between than SV for gearing purposes for M+

BM #1 could be 1m dps and MM #1 could be 600k (I go to extreme just to show why its bad for those screen shot)

Also knowing that all those BM are Pure ST building (if they aren't they inting)

and MM & SV are most likely Cleave/AoE build outside of the Pure ST fight

I don't think looking at top 10 dps is necessarily reflective of real performance.
Especially when you look at the thing and it's like "Power Infusion: 4"

Like if you filter for 95th percentile over all the heroic bosses it suddenly looks quite different. Because there's actually only a couple pure stand there and blast 100% of the time single target fights.
