there's a lot of good stuff but you have to know what's going on

like fighters get action surge at lvl 2

thats a huge pickup for any melee non-fighter

but you gotta be careful since most classes get a feat every 4 levels

so I guess in general you'd multiclass 8/4

so you don't miss out on feats

but there are some wicked synergies like a Tempest Domain Cleric multiclassed with a Storm Sorc

they get this at lvl 2

lvl 3 gives domain spells, lvl 4 a feat

so 8 lvls of Sorc and 4 lvls of Tempest Cleric sounds like it could work

but then you lose out on some high tier spell stuff on the Sorc, etc. etc.

and since high lvl sorc spells roll multiple dice the damage range on spells is massive, so dealing max damage by channeling divinity is just crazy

in DOS2 you'd talk to a vendor, then take your party member with the highest sneak skill and select him (he's not in dialogue) and then rob the entire vendor blind while he's locked in dialogue, and then you'd go and sell or fence the gear you stole from him

i did that with every single vendor in the entire game

and you could lure vendors to you by teleporting them 1 centimeter to the side and they'd go seek out your MC to talk to you that teleporting is rude.
