Mythic Rashok as MM hunter - help needed | Trueshot Lodge | Page 1

Good evening! Ive mained hunter for over 15 years with MM as my favorite spec. Last tier I ran BM and Ive ran both BM and MM this tier and on Rashok I went as BM first since the movement was quite high (tanks were getting used to placing the boss). It is clear that MM outpreforms MM here (or at least its top favorite) but I am struggling and was wondering if someone could go over my logs to give me some tips.

There is for sure something fundementaly wrong with what I'm doing... I get more arcane shots out (on the move) and my aimed shot casts are incredibly low... but I dontget how I could get more out.

I'm already feeling a bit down for asking since I tend to figure this stuff out usually, but I need a helping hand here and Rashok specific tips would help. Also, appologies if I really shouldnt be running Steel Trap, but noticed top hunters were doing it and I gave it a go...

Probably just a movement thing. You diagnosed the major problem I see based just off casts. Casting too many arcane shots. Work on getting better at movement and stuff, you should be getting almost double as many aimed shots off.

I think its a bad habit I have from older rotations... I tend to have ticks that stick from older times.

But for the time being, and considering how fast we get aimed shot stacks, can I ignore arcane shot for the most part as long as I know I will have an available aimed shot?

You aren't taking precise shots right? Then yeah... Ignore arcane unless you need a global and are over 55 focus I believe the guides say

Crank aimed shots. That's how you'll proc and maintain TS uptime.

The fight you linked was prob the unluckiest I've seen at like 22-24% uptime? Was checking this specific fight over while on the plane but will look further into it

Honestly yeah, just focus on Aimed shot. Add Arcane shot in only after you’re getting 100+ aimed shots in a 5:30 time

My RL isnt allowing me to go MM on Rashok now. x)
Regardless, I'm gona practice and just keep trucking as MM afterwards because that's my go to spec. BM is comfy when Im tired and trying to learn a boss though.
