BM Hunter gear improvement

Hi guys, i've reached 415 ilv on my BM hunter and im not sure what can i upgrade now. When i'm simming Nelthrax HC it shows me downgrade but maybe im doing something wrong. Could you please look at my armory/sim and tell me what's going on? I know i can get Icon trin from raid and maybe Diurna's ring but that's quite long term upgrade. Is there anything i can improve by now?

There's nothing wrong with the sims, Crafted bow has a faster attack speed (2.6 instead of 3.0) which is better for AoE. As for the rest of your gear, outside of your chest you could upgrade with valor and change with Catalyst at 415, you can either farm spark for more 418 crafted gear or Mythic Raid or 20's in M+ for 421 vault

One more question, which buff at Algathar Academy 20 and higher should i take? I've seen that some players are taking versa but im not convinced about it.

replace this jade trash trinket for hunger of pack trinket
and try to get 20% atleast haste

ovc sim yourself but i belive those items will improve you char alot

btw the reason sim telling you that jade sim better than hunger of pack is probarly because you haste is low as fuck

so if you will get 20% haste probarly hunger of pack will be sim highter as well
and i woldnt cound the jade trinket as stat trinket cuz its rng
better get gear with haste stat

There is no haste breakpoints for damage, all more haste than sim "tells you to wear" achieves is more fluid gameplay at expense of dps. Not saying its necessarily a bad thing to get haste for easier frenzy management but the "20% haste trust me bro" is just a myth.

Having said all that i would bet money when you sim it values haste enough that it gets you close to 20% before it doesnt value haste as much and wants other stats

From my sims the only bow that outdps heroic razg is a 421 vault bow
