Yo i would be trying my best to give you the best feedback i got some are mechanically
based for Rasz fight in itself (like cd usage playstyle etc.) and more on ur specc
and how to improve there. Ofc for other ppl wanting to give feedback the more the merrier.

#

Just to start of i would go over the fight and how to play it (atleast imo) never BL
at start especially now that rasz hc got nerfed u always want to bl at shield phase
or rather just Phase 2 (any shield depends on comp). I just assume its a guild run and therefore u cant do much about it
but you definitely dont wanna lust at pull here. And for pulls im going over mostly
the 10th pull where you guys had the best prog.

#

First id like to go over ur talents. You are running butch+ frenzy, while also running
lunge. Lunge is more like a confort pick u definitely dont need it for rasz so u might
wanna try to run without it to get the last bit of dmg out. Butchery overall is okay
for Rasz (this fight is weird for us anyways), but i would rather run 1 point in FotE
and drop both points of Butch and Frenzy and put them into improv bombs, which also
just helps on aoe and gives u a small edge on single target. That all depends on ur raid team
tho, so if your raid is lacking in aoe u still might consider running butch with frenzy.
Also a really good point for FotE is the burst on P2.5 for the small adds, because
its a decent chunk of burst where butch would most likely be too slow as all dps should
focus them down.

#

TL:DR consider running improv bombs and FotE instead of Butch, frenzy and lunge.

Now lets go over your usage of self cds. Its hard to judge on self cds without knowing
if a wipe got called (raidlead said to wipe and lie down). But i will go over assuming
you guys never call wipe (just to make things easier for me lol).
First thing you trust ur healers too much it seems?
Which is not a bad thing its just that u better overheal/overcd then be sorry and have
floorpov. Like on the screenshot u can see u died without using survival self cd
or healing pot or healthstone, especially when u got Lash on you (ticking dot dmg
on random players from rasz) you should help your healers as much as you can. Later on
when you have progged more towards the end you can and should communicate about cd usage
for healers and self cds from everyone. Also for the Tempest wings in P2 always try to negate
the dmg by harpooning to rasz, try to get max melee range then get ur last gcd in
then run out or use disengage (u might want to avoid that for the other mechanics)
and harpoon as soon as the wave comes out to nullify the dmg completely pretty much.
It takes some practise to get the correct timing in but it just helps out a lot
(you could also use gate if the possibility is there, rly good for others too btw).
It seems you guys are mostly dying to P1 when its sparks into charge, there u can use
many self cds but survival and exhil should be enough to survive it, but remember to use
survival for the charge pop as it does potentially more damage then sparks, so use
exhil after spark and survival before charge pop its the most dmg in P1 anyways
(except u wanna get that beatiful breath from rasz in your face sodaDead).
so good time to use self cds so they are up again for Shield Phase. Overall just use
exhil a bit more as we get a good refund on the cd anyways.

#

TL:DR use more self cds on shield phase, spark into charge in P1 and use harpoon
to negate the dmg of Tempest wing (or wl gate).

#

It is time for the dammies. Opener: always precast your puzzle box (2 seconds of pull)
then be at range for harpoon pop pots into death chakram into spearhead. Then u
should always try to go for MB MB KC and repeat it, if ur KC doesnt reset u might want to FS
if u wont focus cap yourself or just get another MB in, it seems like u rather do
3 MB's before KC which u should avoid, anything else u should not use while in SH.
After ur SH window always try to get a good balance in of using most of ur generaters
as in KC, FS and harpoon while weaving many MB's in, overall u do a pretty good job of that
but just sometimes ignore KC or FS, like in the screenshot INSERT SCREEN even tho ur in SH window
u completely ignore KC which is a net dps loss for the whole window. It seems that the
sparks take a good part of ur concentration which results in a failed SH. Therefore
i would say just chill a bit with the cd on spearhead till u got ur sparks down
and helped other out if they need it bcs u have a good amount of downtime for SH anyways
after P1 so the missed cd isnt necessary bad, because u want to spear first shield.
Also in the intermission really try to keep up ur focus and also u dont have to just dump
everything u got into, play with a reason behind it like if u see u got blue bomb try
to get as many bleeds on the enemies as possible (if you are playing butch that is).
for red bomb u want to get atleast two KC in but only of u benefit from it otherwise
just throw it if u would cap on it otherwise, also remember ur butch is reducing ur
bomb cd so try to not overcap on that.

#

For that note always remember to help ur tank aswell
sometimes it happens that melee giga bursts and gets aggro use ur MD mostly on cd or
rather try to have it for every pack as best as you can. Also don't waste your puzzle box
on Intermission, it is a small increase as in aoe pretty much only butch benefits from it
and you are losing a lot of dmg for shield phase. If you are using Puzzle box for shield phase
pre cast it aswell, so you can move while using death chakram and SH and not me locked
into place for 2 seconds, sure u will use a bit of uptime on the box with the buff
but those 2 seconds are saved for the buff and SH window then (also u dont troll ur raidteam sodaOkay).
Also for money saving stake (its your decision but imo its wasted) dont use pots aslong
you dont get real prog towards the end it feels wasted a bit atleast (if they are conjured mb).

#

TL:DR Always try to MB -> MB -> KC in SH window as much as possible, precast puzzle,
use harpoon on pull, chill a bit with the second SH window in P1 as it collides with sparks
(get the start of the window correctly done you have like 10 seconds to spare atleast on pull 10 you had),
always try to plan ur AOE dmg (capping on bomb cds, what bombs are coming up etc.),
use harpoon as much as possible in Intermission, MD tank in intermission (u do sometimes not always tho),
dont pot if u dont think u have a reasonable chance to kill the boss (imo im poor sodaSadCat).

#

Well thats a lot of text i hope i could help a bit if u get further into the fight u might wanna
post ur logs again to get over the last bits of the fight, anyways if anyone else has
to say something go ahead please (first time helping out on log review sodaShy).
If you have any question hit me up sodaNOTE

# spark ledge that specific section was a tier set proc chain <:happyfrogpeepo:700769595409039...

you still wouldnt spam mb tho lets say for the sake of argument u have 4 procs back to back u still def want to keep the rythm of mb mb kc bcs u increase the length of your overall SH (through deadly duo) which in that sense would mean increase ur dmg output which then dont lose out on any dmg bcs the MB are only delayed (u would spam like that only if the boss is near death/transmission)

idk if i necessarily agree that a 4 stack buffed MB is less valuable than a 3 stack KC through deadly duo though

#

if its for damage, a 40k MB is worth more than a 14k KC thonk

#

but i do get your point

#

It's more important to not waste the gcd on a KC that wastes focus

#

Than it is to be overcapping DD stacks. The APL condition is if you're 2+ stacks AND focus is < regen

#

Survivals GCDs are very very valuable and so our goal is to use the most valuable ability or whatever will allow us to use more of that valuable ability later

#

Which means everything we aim to do is to maximise the number of times we cast mongoose
