So, I've Ben playing WoW for a while and almost always overlooked Hunter as a class for a variety of reasons.. Mainly following "the meta" or hearing complaints from other players complaining about hunter being a "huntard" or pets pulling.. etc. Anyway, I've finally decided to say to hell with it and really get into the class. Help me understand here, I feel like BM is lacking in the AOE area outside of the Chakrams and Wailing Shot.. It's there something I'm missing? Now, I'm going off my former main Warlock.. So take that into consideration. I do use the builds on Wowhead and Icy Veins, but there's not a talent or spell I'm missing, right?
#BM AOE Question - I'm fairly new to the class...

Hey 🙂 I am maining BM, but in M+ I have to switch to MM. BM AoE is horrendous. It has the benefit of being uncapped, but there are literally only a handful of scenarios where low dmg on many targets outweighs the capped bursty MM AoE dmg and even then it's still debatable. So yeah, you just have to live with it, not much you can do until the devs realise a boost in BM's AoE is greatly needed
Beast cleave is the primary AoE tool
Okay so I'm not crazy then. I thought maybe I had forgotten something.
Kind of a bummer. Hopefully BM will see some love in 10.0.7.
Bm is really ok now and it's not a bursty aoe class like others it just pumps constant dmg all the time since we get all our cds back really fast .I did a 77 k overal now in a rlp 16 on my 401 bm , i'd say decent for a pug group.
That's pretty impressive, what pet type do you recommend for M+?
I'm currently running double Bloodgullet Spirit Beasts, they're Tenacity, it's that what I should be running?
spirit beats are perfect if someone else has a bl in party as u can self heal more
if not you run a bl/ hero pet
Oh, okay. So, it's my understanding that all Ferocity pets now have the Primal Rage ability?
Which I think is the BL option you're referring to?
yes
Oh okay, prefect! Thanks for the tip!
