Roll at 8 if possible roll at 7 if you can't healthily make it to 8,
Basically slam items that work for either comp so things like gun blade, hoj,gs, spark, tank items, etc
Scout constantly to try to figure out what people are playing, people with shiv guinsoos slammed are azir, death blade guinsoos aphelios, son bt yasuo kaisa
Etc commit to the line that is less contested or commit to azor/lux if ur ahead
If things are going well u roll on 8 at 4-2 or 4-5 and u play whatever u find, full azir board but no lux and instead kaisa 2? Sounds good, then u wait for the low health azir player to die and u roll again, same concept with any unit, couldnt find jarvan but found a shen 2? Fuck it good enough
If things are going bad u roll at 7 on 3-5 or 4-1 and u stop once ur looking strong, if u don't ever look strong then u spam roll at 0 gold and hope mortdog saves u, if you succeed in becoming strong u 8 on 5-1
Idk it's hard to figure out when u can make it to 8 when u can't, when u need to roll before that bc amount of contested and what ur lobby is deciding to do and such all factors in, but basically u just scout and make judgment calls and hope ur right not much to it
I guess a simple way to view it is like if ur around 50 hp on 3-5 u prob need to roll at 7, if ur above 90 u can probably sac until 4-2 and go 8
Oh yeah but to summup I think u should only play like that and for those 2 comps and you'll mostly top 4, sometimes it won't work out and hopefully you'll learn something about how you misplayed an early part of the game or misread a situation at least that's been my experience
