it's not as big of a thing for softcore, more a self imposed challenge , in HC it's brutal

but it's mainly physiological, you can always opt out of it, but committing to it and sticking to that can be rewarding for yourself

the game lets you play how you want to play

for streamers it's probs more of a "no one gave me this stuff" proof
