trinity just needs 2 damage types to reliably alternate in dealing the highest damage

you have trouble with trinity because your minimum cold damage value is almost higher than your maximum lightning/fire value

you're almost always dealing cold damage as your highest elemental damage, thus only giving you resonance for fire/lightning.
