in this case, you will sometimes hit hardest with lightning

sometimes hardest with cold

so you'll easily keep up trinity

and added cold is a green gem so no stat issues

and has flat dam on the gem

added fire is an extra phys->fire conversion iirc

besides, hydrosphere doesnt apply fire exposure if you rely on it early game
