Reality Stone Saving and Replacing

I was checking out the infinity craft mod today myself today
and one of the features which I thought were cool was,
the save and replace function
where you pressed the save ability while looking at a block to save it,
and then you can use the replace ability to replace whatever block your looking at with the saved block,
the block duplication we have is kinda janky in comparision, i was just wondering why you couldnt do this instead lol
