I thought of something, I just had this idea like that but I don't know if it would necessarily be good, since you are looking for something defensive why not be able to use the doppelganger even without being free movement, to say example: you get combo and you can use the doppelganger to get out of it, it will not affect stamania point and therefore nothing changes on that
