#The Hidden Ones Isn't a Gacha Game...

I wouldn't be so sure about that yet. But I hope it won't be.
I understand you concerns but I wouldn't make that video if I didn't have some type of Idea what they're doing.
Also they preach about a fair and competitive environment. So having a gacha for characters is the literal opposite of what they want for the game.
Nothing is confirmed though.
So it could be anything but its leaning towards a no.
The reason I'm worried is because the game will release on mobile which is plagued by either p2w or gacha games. Only a very tiny fraction of mobile games are purely skill based like Honor of Kings which is basically a variation of LoL mobile. That being said, The Hidden Ones devs are backed by Tencent so they might afford making a game which is less profitable, if their main focus is building the next major cross-platform competitive game. From the looks of it they aren't making a quick gacha cash grab but rather a legit arena fighting game that can survive the test of time.
Honestly, if there's any way I could possibly see ''Gacha''? It wouldn't be in the core gameplay - but maybe costumes/exclusive appearances
Which skins ain't that bad, IMO
That's something, I'd be okay with. I love customization of any kind -- player cards, icons, etc.
Yeah how about custom entrance/victory cutscenes too, that would be nice 👌
"Heyyy. You're here."
