Don't worry she's regain stamina only if her dodge perfectly dodge an attack, so u can't just spam it to avoid any single attack from bosses
While in PvP mode there's a "bann character" Feature, so u can choose a character to prohibit it for being use
And yeah I saw many players in CN alpha test that bann Lu Linglong in match lol

So does that mean it's difficult to time it?
If not then it will still be like sparking zero but instead of it being after image strike it will be how vanishes are and this one seems worse cause if you do it right you get stamina back while in sparking zero the vanish chain ends when one character runs out of stamina
Looking at the vid, didn't really seem hard tbh
This is not really an issue, all they had to do was wait for the obvious dodge then punish or since skills beat basic attacks they could wait for the perfect dodge and basic attack then use a skill. She can perfect dodge easier in that state which looks funny but when people learn the game I'm sure counterplay will form naturally.
Let them make the game first then see what the actual issues are
A real problem though is Zhang Chulan. He has a skill that allows infinite stamina for a set amount of time so they can just run away which tbf is part of his character lol but if character bans exist then that changes everything.

The thing is people can still bait you into attacking them then use the dodge
it depends on the other things, the vid looks easy cuz both player use linglong
u know there's other ranged char that'll not let u get closer to him, such as yuan tao, Zhang lingyu, and the puppet girl
then at point you're just playing a fighting game
I know it's just that after what happened on sparking zero I just don't want the game to go down the same path especially since this will be a lot of peoples first interaction with the game/anime

Definitely need a drain or maybe after so many dodges things get faster like in Sparking Zero.
Old games of dbz had it where after so many dodges you would clash and disengage to return to neutral

You could say the same about 'baiting' it in Sparking Zero. Didn't work. In the end it doesn't look the greatest. A reset to neutral instead of being locked in this is going to be more enjoyable than spamming the buttons
Choosing letting this stay in vs. a cool clash to reset seems a little crazy
if the dodge requires u to actually time it and its not just a active that u can press at any given time then its fine the way it is
we cannot compare sparking to this when they are just 2 entirely different games played completely different

but this can be easily countered by one person using a skill to beat the obvious button coming after.
