Setting the price of how much NPCs have to pay to use attractions or utilities, so making the prices higher decreases the popularity of the attraction or utility, and possibly the park very slowly, and making the prices lower increases popularity in both your park and the attraction.

I believe the system is definitley them NOT paying to USE the attraction, but rather a tip because of excitement...

yes

I never thousht about that...

#

It feels more like a tip because you pay to enter the park and use attractions usually

#

But for bigger income you get "tips" from attractions so it is easier to play

#

That is dumb then

Yeah, I've checked that math to back it up, tips are separate from the money gained from tickets and attractions. Also, yes its's weird that they pay to use an attraction every time, but it's necessary since irl, waterparks are open much longer than a few minutes and have way more than 120 guests in a day. Also if you think that system is dumb I gotta ask, how often are you tipping up to $100? and multiple times too.
They had to make the game not drag on while also letting us actually have enough money to play.

I mean, I did say that it is needed since the earnings would be wrecked then... But I don't know qhat I would rather have. Maybe it's just a contract with an outsider so they give you money like an investitor... But that is just "wordplay", potato, patato

This was only an idea because i have seen guests pay for attractions when they walk to the stairs to enter a slide but it could just be them having fun, I'm not sure, but then if they didn't players wouldn't be making near as much money and so if this feature that I just talked about in this message didn't exist, then the price that guests would be paying for tickets would be thousand(s) for a ticket and that would look unrealistic for someone to be paying that much

I mean, yes... but it's a Sim game; both time and individual guests are kind of abstract to begin with; most actual waterparks, especially larger ones likely have 5-20 times as many people entering the gates on a daily basis, with at least 8 staff at the ticket counters alone, in a span of time each day 60 times longer than what's depicted in-game and in a way each day seems to represent more like a number of days since you can construct things almost instantaneously.

It makes sense to inflate how much money you'd be making per guest; maybe you could rationalize it as people enjoying the amenities and attractions and returning to the park at another time or else drawing more people to your park later.
