So far I really like the game, and I like the fact I can paint the floors and walls; but I think I would like for there to be more customizable options. Water parks come in all shapes, sizes and colors— and although I appreciate the floor and wall coloring features, I think I would also like for there to be more sandbox/design options? E.g, more umbrella style variation or the ability to add murals or themes to your water park; or the ability to add lamps or fairy lights to certain areas. You could seperate these items into a catalog.
Maybe add a mechanic you can unlock in the research table, or by adding specific missions to unlock it, and it would be a book added to your build screen, filled with all sorts of different item variations of things you've unlocked. E.g, different styles of benches/loungers seperate by whether or not you unlocked their tier (rusty, regular, modern etc etc) and there would be different options you can choose from instead of "oh yeah you get one option for this thing." Or like how the trashcans only look a specific way depending on how high the tier is, instead of being able to choose from a variety of design options. I think in doing this it would make individual water parks more unique, instead of it just being layout based it can also be design based as well— and it would bring in a lot more players. 🌸
