Dungeon Keeper Gold + Dungeon Keeper 2

Both really good games, and both of them has not been doing as great with time. Dungeon Keeper Gold currently only works with DOSBOX from what i have seen, that is also the version ran on GOG, what would be cool is a natively run game. Dungeon Keeper 2 is broken on many levels, im unsure what the fixes applied on GOG was, but it's certainly not the best experience from my memory. But from the CD alone, you either get crashes or weird graphical glitches.

would love to see a proper fix and a video about it. I'm sure getting an old game like Dungeon Keeper Gold to work on Windows 11 is a challenge, but if anyone is worthy it must be you. Would be cool to see the challenges that would arise from trying to get it to run on a modern system.

You can always check the GOG changes on their site and for DK2 they did some stuff, have tried it with GIM? https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2100-dungeon-keeper-2-general-improvement-mod/

The only unresolved issue is the frame rate in the main menu but it should work with a wrapper https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dungeon_Keeper_2#Issues_unresolved

This made me look online - and wow it is sold on Steam now. I went from memory, and back 3 years ago or so it wasn't sold anywhere by EA. They have updated it and fixed some ongoing issues. That is my bad. Still sad Dungeon Keeper Gold even through steam runs on DOSBOX and not natively but guess it's a step forward.
