Everyone spawns on the left side of the Amazon River. The objective is simple: be the first player to reach the eastern border.
That's it, no complicated rules, just arrive there first.
But what makes it interesting is what happens on the way...
The river splits the map into land and water, and that choice defines your entire run. Go by land and you're slower but stable, except everything you face ahead is a constant battle and everyone behind you becomes a threat. Go by boat and you're faster, until the nations build warships and suddenly your boat that's been traveling through the entire river gets shot down.
So you ally the nations with warships. Smart. Except now you can't kill them, which means if you need their land to push east, you're just stuck. You've traded progression for a naval pathway forward that has gotten you trapped behind.
And if somehow you've outpaced everyone, raced ahead while others fought, congratulations, you're now the target. Every player behind you is now united by one shared goal: to stop you. Nukes start flying at your boats. Your cities start falling, but let's say you still manage to arrive at the eastern border as small remnants of what you were at your peak... but the bot sitting on the border has more troops than you do. You can't get through anymore. You don't just win with speed, you must arrive strong.
