We have to do something about it eventually, because otherwise we're just going to keep adding more and more maps of varying quality and preference, and it will just get diluted like crazy. We're going to get to a point where you're really badly wanting to play a map but you only get to play it like once a week because of how many maps there are.
Also, I don't know if you know, but the current map weightings are basically completely random. You have some maps weighted at 4 and others at 8, and there is no obvious reason why that is the case.

Ah, I knew I saw this somewhere. I didn't realise it was nearly verbatim what I wrote though
I thought the idea was just "put random maps on each week"
I'll remove this and add my thing to there.
