#Official Clan System (Create & Invite)

I would like to suggest adding an official Clan System with:

Create Clan

Invite to Clan

A maximum limit (for example: 40 members per clan)

Right now, many players use unofficial tags (UN and other known tags) simply to gain coordinated advantage inside matches. An official system would bring structure and fairness.

Why this is important

  1. Reduces FFA alliances

In FFA mode, we frequently see coordinated play between players using the same tag.
With an official clan system and a clear member limit (e.g., 40), large-scale organized dominance across lobbies would be reduced.

  1. Better control and transparency

Each player can belong to only one clan

Joining a clan is possible only via invite from the clan leader

The clan TAG is automatically assigned in-game

Clear member list per clan

This creates accountability and prevents hidden large-scale coordination.

  1. Helps reduce cheating

The system could also be connected to Discord-linked accounts on the website.

If a player is caught cheating:

The ban should be linked to their site + Discord account

To return, they would need to create a new Discord account

This adds friction.
Most players will not go through the trouble of rebuilding everything just to cheat again.

Expected Benefits

Structured competitive environment

Reduced FFA teaming abuse

Stronger anti-cheat enforcement

More transparent community hierarchy

Healthier long-term ecosystem

This would not only improve fairness but also strengthen the game's competitive identity.

Why the members count limit? Seems pretty low.
What if I want to play for multiple clans or occasionally play with other clans?

The member limit exists for balance reasons.

In most competitive games, clans/guilds have:

A leader

Invite system

Leave option

And a defined member cap

The purpose of a cap is simple:
It keeps rankings skill-based, not size-based.

Right now, if one clan has thousands of members, it will naturally dominate rankings just through volume — not necessarily because it has the strongest players.

If there was a limit (for example 40 members):

Only the strongest or most active players would be inside

Top rankings would reflect quality, not mass recruitment

Clans would actually compete instead of just stacking numbers

As for joining multiple clans:

From a competitive standpoint, being in multiple clans weakens identity and loyalty.
If players can freely move or belong to several clans at once, it creates:

Cross-clan coordination

FFA teaming problems

Less accountability

Harder moderation

A structured system (1 clan per player, invite-based entry, ability to leave anytime) creates clarity.

You can still:

Leave a clan anytime

Join another via invite

Play with friends freely

But rankings and structure stay clean.

The goal isn't restriction.
The goal is competitive integrity.

That’s great to hear that clans are already on the roadmap.

My suggestion isn’t about whether clans should exist —
it’s about how they should be structured for competitive balance.

When designing the improved clan system, I strongly suggest considering:

• A member cap (for competitive integrity)
• One clan per player
• Invite-only entry
• Automatic clan tag
• Discord-linked moderation

Without a member limit, rankings risk becoming size-based instead of skill-based.

If one clan can recruit unlimited members, they will dominate leaderboards through volume — not strength.

A cap (e.g. 40 members) ensures:
• Top clans are elite, not massive
• FFA teaming is reduced
• Rankings stay competitive

Since moderation tools are also planned, integrating Discord-linked bans into the clan/account system would significantly reduce repeat cheating.

This is less about restriction —
and more about building a healthy competitive ecosystem long-term.

Being in a clan is fun, not only for competitive purposes. People should have the freedom to choose. Cheating will be dealt with by in-game moderation anyway.

I think there’s a misunderstanding.

I’m not suggesting removing freedom.

Of course players should be able to:
• Leave a clan anytime
• Join another clan via invite
• Play casually with friends

That doesn’t change.

What I’m suggesting is structure.

Being in multiple clans at the same time creates:
• Identity confusion
• Cross-clan coordination
• Harder moderation
• Less competitive clarity

One clan per player doesn’t remove freedom —
it just creates loyalty and accountability.

You can still leave anytime and switch.

As for cheating:

Yes, in-game moderation helps.
But structured systems reduce abuse before it happens.

If clans are official, visible, and linked to accounts:
• Teaming becomes transparent
• Repeat offenders become easier to track
• Organized abuse becomes harder

Fun and structure are not opposites.

In fact, structure is what allows competitive games to stay fun long-term.

You either leave and wait leader approval or betray.

there was never a case where you couldjoin 2 clans at same time, only if they are allied and your role would be an "Allay [EU]"

#

but a tag must be from only 1 clan

" People should have the freedom to choose. " They'd choose a clan they want to join, that clan might have allies with other clans etc, but no thing as "2 tags"

You are guaranteed to join the same team (in team games) by using the same tag. I want to play a casual match with people outside my clan. I should be allowed to do that. "Allies" don't answer this use case at all.
We're not talking about competitive systems, we're talking about just play and having fun.

yeah absolutely, there should be a toggle for something like that maybe?

#

Ignore team tag collaboration in queues: ON/OFF

Yeah something like that. So, just to be clear: not that I'm against the competitive system. But we should also be open to people that just want to chill. To do that, we need not to lock-in to one way or the other.

Given that, I'll leave all of you the stage for sharing and discussing ideas 🙂

you don't need to be in a clan to team in ffa tho

and you don't need to be logged in to play either

I don’t think clans should have a cap limit

yeah me neither, that's just stupid, big clans would end up divided like- we'd probably get [UNA] [UNB] [UNC] [UND] and so on

AND they team with each other
