Instead of troops being omnipresent, they
should have an actual position and quantity in specific areas, rather than the same number of troops being available everywhere in your country.

Transport ships should also be able to move troops between friendly islands. Additionally, factories would finally become meaningful, allowing you to significantly improve troop logistics.

Kinda like this (black dots represent divisions of your army with exact quantities and positions):

Hmm, so like-- OF converts troops to selectable little dots, like with Warships?

Or like, this is just a visual change to represent how full/empty a country is by eye?

If it's the 1st, idk if you'd really want to micro a million dudes like in BAR or total war. (Even then it's abstracted into simple selectable squads)

Bump. This would make the game so much more strategic.

Fighting for overseas territories would be much more interesting. You wouldn’t just need to get a pixel on someone to completely destroy them. Naval logistics would be much more important, I almost feel like they’d need to add a new type of ship. A transport ship with health for ferrying soldiers

#

It would be much harder to fully blockade someone but at the same time the attacker would need to continue resupplying that front

This would make the game so much more complex, too. It could make for a great game, but I don't think it fits the idea of this game, which is supposed to be relatively simple.

I think that this is a good idea, but maybe a sort of land warship like a tank would be a better compromise. And this would be able to slow the capture of tiles of be able to capture tiles itself

This type of idea could bring game to downfall and no-return.

It could also make it the greatest strategy game ever

This is the kind of detail that should go in a multiplayer RTS released on Steam, not a simple browser game.
